Hey there, I’m Dean, I founded DJ Fitness & Wellbeing in 2021 after 6 years in the fitness industry.
I got into the industry because well, to put it bluntly, I used to be massively overweight, and hated it, it feels horrible when everything is a struggle, and in my case couldn’t even run around for 30 seconds with the kids before being out of breath.
After I busted my behind to go from 20 stone to 12, I realized there must be an awful amount of people who felt the same as I did, it was then I decided that I needed to dedicate myself to helping others put an end to feeling that way.
I have since qualified as a personal trainer, become a level 3 and level 4 specialist in obesity and diabetes and recently won the Prestige South of England Personal trainer of the year award.
I have helped hundreds of people reach their goals be it weight loss, preparing for events, getting a handle on food, and simply feeling better, EVERY, SINGLE, DAY!
Now working from my own private facility in Bersted, Bognor Regis, I offer in person and online personal training.

Anyone who knows
me knows I hate exercise, it’s painful, sweaty and very boring. I have tried
team sports, gym, running, power walking, aqua aerobics, yoga and spin, so a
fair few things but each time I lacked the motivation to keep it going longer
than a few sessions and then I found Dean at DJ Fitness & Wellbeing…
I’ll admit I was
nervous booking a PT and it took a few months of emailing before I had the
courage to book a course of sessions but I am so glad I did! Dean put me at
ease instantly, the sessions were geared at the right pace, intensity and I
found myself looking forward to each one.
There were times
I struggled but Dean kept up the encouragement and I surprised myself by what I
had actually accomplished. I was given a meal plan with plenty of options to
help stay within my calorie goals and also an easy to follow work out schedule
to complete at home. I am a mum of 3, I work full time and struggle to find any
time for myself but the sessions became my “me time” and for the
first time in a long while I put myself first for a few times each week.
My body feels
stronger, more supple, toned but more importantly I am starting to feel

I’ve used his PT services for awhile and am forever grateful for his patience & understanding especially when I am ready to throw in the towel…again!!
He is so supportive and truly understands what it’s like to have weight loss & fitness struggles.
He continually finds new exercises to keep me motivated and will adapt them if I’m not firing on all cylinders or have an injury etc.
He listens to any concerns you may have and takes them seriously.
Although I have my favourite exercises he still pushes me to get out of my comfort zone & try heavier weights or a different exercise.
Dean is not a shouty pushy trainer(which some people might like)but he encourages you to to the best you can in a calm supportive way and certainly knows his stuff!!
Even if I go off the rails he is not judgemental but offers different solutions to help avoid any future issues .With his support I’m finally getting results with being consistent.
Dean definitely deserves a medal for putting up with me….he is brilliant!
